Question Just a couple of questions

Hello,

I just deleted my mesmer to try out the assassin profession and I have a few questions on them…

First, I would like to know what kind of insignia’s people prefer to use on their armors. I usually use radiant for my other characters except my elementalist. I was thinking of using the same for assassins in the beginning to have more freedom in trying out combos and getting used to them. Then use something like nightwalker or survivor with a couple of e-management skills.
So which type of insignia do you use most of the time?

Second, what daggers do you all prefer to use. At the moment I use a
Zodiac Daggers (req. 9)
15^50
20/20
+30

I would be changing the sundering mod to zealous as soon as I find someone selling it b/c I’ve heard they are very effective with daggers and I don’t really like sundering except for scythes. What do you prefer?
As for the damage mod (15^50) do you all prefer to use that or +5 energy (or something else) since 15^50 only increases base damage and daggers have the lowest so it wouldn’t be a very big increase in the damage potential, I think…

Thank you very much for your time and have a pleasant day

PS: I have all 3 of the campaigns but not the expansion pack, GWEN.

Poor Mesmer.

Anyway, I use the +health for my armor. If you plan just to use daggers, you may want to look at the + armor while attacking insignias.

I find that Assassins have good e-management, especially when using Zelous Daggers (I'm using the end-game zelous daggers).

I have been happy with an energy max of 30 using mainly Vampiric daggers.

With the advent of Critical Agility and the addition of two EotN e-management skills to the already impressive line up of Sin e-management tools I really see no need to go any higher.

With Critical Strikes strikes being the Sins primary attribute your really good to go.

If anything over compensating energy return at the sacrifice of more damage is more of a concern for a Sin imo. Some builds are far to heavy on e-management and it's always a fine balance between keeping fuel in the tank and totally overfilling your energy bar every attack chain.

Of course it's also build dependent but I find if my energy bar is consistently sitting at half to two thirds while I'm running my attack chain I'm happy and being efficient while allowing enough room for enchant refreshs, heals, etc on top of the chain.

Experimentation is key.

Good luck to you.
